AGROCHEMISTRY AND PLANT NUTRITION LABORATORY

Laboratory for agrochemistry and plants nutrition exists since the foundation of the Faculty in 1947. It is located on the first floor of the Faculty, accommodated in a room with an area of 36 m2.

Equipment

Muffle furnace;
Kjeldahl apparatus;
Flame photometer;
Dryers;
Water distillation apparatus;
Analytical balance.

Analyses

Agrochemical soil analyses (content of available to plants macro and micro nutrients; content of available to plants forms of heavy metals).
Foliar analyses (content of macro and micro nutrients; content of heavy toxic metals).
Quality of fruits, grape and vegetables (determination of water and dry matter content; mineral and organic matter content; macro and microelements content; analyses of heavy toxic metals).
Analyses of mineral fertilizers (chemical and physical properties).
Analyses of organic fertilizers

Main activity of the Laboratory

Scientific projects in the field of plants nutrition;
Analyses for private and institutional agricultural sector;
Analyses for mineral fertilizers trading companies.
