LABORATORY FOR SEED QUALITY ANALYSES

The Laboratory was established in 1973. It is located on the second floor of the Faculty, room number 129, in two sections with an overall area of 55 m2.

Moisture meter for wheat;
Germination chamber “Kotterman”;
Dryer INSTRUMENTARIA;
Balance “Mettler P1200”;
Farinotoms;
Stereo microscope MEOPTA 107336;
Binoculars “Eleitz Wetzlar”;
Seed sorter (manual and electric) Paul Polikeit;
Seed counter

Analyses

Seed and planting material of field, vegetable, forage and industrial crops

Testing: purity, germination, moisture content, mass of 1000 seeds, hectolitre mass, health status;

Cultivation fields of field, vegetable, forage and industrial crops, vineyards and orchards

Testing: biological efficiency.

Main activities

Scientific projects in the area of field crops production and herbology (weed protection);
Analyses for the companies trading with seeds and pesticides;
Analyses for seeds and planting material producers.
