FOOD INSTITUTE
The Food Institute was established in 2010. The institute has 9 employees, seven of whom are involved in teaching and research, and two are senior laboratory assistants. The employees of the Institute participate in the realization of the teaching and educational activity, scientific research activity, professional and applied activity, as well as a larger number of activities of wider interest. Within the Institute, work is carried out in several laboratories, in which practical teaching is carried out for the students of the first cycle, and scientific research work with the students of the second and third cycle studies. In this manner, students acquire practical skills and competencies, in order to be competitive in the labor market in the field of food quality and safety. The employees of the Institute participate in the implementation of numerous national and international research projects. The obtained research results are presented at international events and are also published in renowned international scientific journals. The students of the master’s and doctoral studies are also involved in the activities within the projects. DEPARTMENTS
